While we are not a moving company and do not offer packing or transport services, we offer practical, eco-friendly products for rent or purchase to help make your move smoother, more organized, and more sustainable. Whether you're relocating homes, downsizing, renovating, or transitioning office spaces, we're here to ease the process—reducing both stress and environmental impact.

If you're over 100 km from Kingston, it may not be feasible—long-distance deliveries can get expensive. Eco-Moving Rentals is designed for local moves and relationships.

Yes! Our website lists bundle prices for up to 4 weeks at a discounted rate, as that’s the most common rental period.

We get it—accidents can happen. During checkout, you'll be asked to agree to our rental terms and conditions. While our equipment is built to last, any items that are damaged, lost, or not returned will incur a replacement fee.
For plastic moving boxes: A $40 fee per box applies if they are damaged, missing, or not returned.
Please make sure to review our full rental terms, as additional fees may apply for other equipment and moving supplies beyond the plastic boxes.

Absolutely. We thoroughly clean and disinfect every piece of equipment—not just the boxes—before each rental. Moving can be messy, but our equipment isn’t. Each Plastic Moving Box is:
Blown out with an air compressor to remove any debris
Wiped down by hand with disinfectant wipes
Stripped of any old labels or residue
You can trust that your crates will arrive clean, sanitized, and ready to use—so you can start packing with peace of mind.

After placing your order, you'll receive an email confirmation to acknowledge we've received your request. Please allow 24–48 business hours for our team to review and respond.
Prior to your scheduled delivery or pickup, a team member will reach out to confirm the details — including the location, date, and time.
Once your order is confirmed, you'll receive an invoice for a $50 non-refundable deposit, which is required to secure your reservation.
The remaining balance, along with a refundable security deposit of:$100 for packages under $150
$200 for packages between $150–$250
$300 for packages over $250
is due no later than 48 hours before delivery or pickup.

We typically offer delivery or pickup within 24 to 48 hours of your order being placed. However, to ensure availability and the smoothest experience, we recommend placing your order at least one week before you plan to start packing. These fees help cover the time and resources spent preparing, packing, and scheduling your order for pick up/delivery.

No, we kindly ask that you do not write directly on our plastic moving boxes or any rental equipment. These items are reused for multiple rentals, and any permanent markings can affect the experience for future customers.
To help keep your move organized, we provide easy-peel moving labels with each plastic moving box rental. You can write the room location and contents on the label, then place it on the plastic moving boxes. This makes it simple to identify what’s inside each box—without damaging or altering the equipment.

While we can't guarantee the protection of your belongings, using Eco-Moving Rentals' plastic moving boxes instead of traditional cardboard boxes can significantly reduce the risk of damage during your move. Our durable, stackable plastic boxes offer superior protection thanks to their strength and structure.
However, the safety of your items also depends on how they are packed. We recommend using proper packing supplies—such as bubble wrap, packing paper, and furniture blankets—to cushion and protect your belongings inside the boxes.

Empty all plastic moving boxes of any personal items and packing materials.
Stack the boxes neatly in a single, accessible area (preferably near the entrance or designated pickup spot).
Place any packing supplies or accessories (such as hanging file bars) inside the top box of the stack.
You may leave moving labels on the boxes.
Following these steps helps our team quickly count and load everything, ensuring a hassle-free return process.

Eco-Moving Rentals – Terms & Conditions

By placing an order with Eco-Moving Rentals, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
Order Confirmation & Payment Terms
Order Acknowledgement:
Once an order is placed, a confirmation email will be sent to acknowledge receipt. Please allow 24–48 business hours for our team to review and process your request.
Delivery or Pickup Confirmation
Prior to your scheduled delivery or pickup, a member of our team will contact you to confirm all relevant details, including the location, date, and time.
Deposits & Final Payment
To secure your reservation, a $50 non-refundable deposit is required. An invoice will be issued once all details are confirmed.
The remaining balance, along with a refundable security deposit, must be paid in full at least 48 hours before delivery or pickup. The refundable deposit amount is based on the total package value as follows:
$100 for packages under $150
$200 for packages between $150–$250
$300 for packages over $250
Failure to complete payment by the specified deadline may result in cancellation of your reservation.
Rental Terms, Returns, and Equipment Liability
Rental Period
All rental packages and equipment are subject to a weekly rental rate, with one week defined as seven (7) consecutive days.
Example: A 1-bedroom package rented for three weeks equals 21 days. If the equipment is retained beyond this period without prior written approval for an extension, the damage or missing item fee will begin to apply starting on day 22.
Late Returns
If rental equipment is not returned by the end of the business day on the agreed return date, and no written extension agreement has been made, the customer will be charged the full retail replacement value of the unreturned item(s), plus any applicable administrative fees.
Lost or Damaged Equipment
Customers are responsible for all rented equipment during the rental period. Any item(s) that are:
Lost
Damaged beyond normal wear and tear
Not returned
will be charged to the customer at the full current retail value of the affected item(s), along with any additional applicable administrative charges. These charges will be applied to the original payment method used at checkout.
Retail Value and Administrative Charges
The full retail value and administrative fees are subject to change and will be determined at the time of the incident. Final charges may reflect fluctuations in market pricing, replacement costs, and inflation of goods and services.
Rental Extensions
Rental extensions are common and offered at discounted rates. To extend your rental, please contact our team in advance. Failure to return equipment without notice will result in lost or damaged equipment fees being charged beginning at morning of the following business day after the agreed upon return date.
Equipment Return Policy
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure all rented items are returned on time and in the condition, they were received. This includes that no writing should be done on Eco-Moving Rentals plastic moving boxes or any equipment owned and rented by Eco-Moving Rentals, only easy peel labels should be used.
If we’re doing delivery and pick up - someone must be present at the scheduled delivery and pickup location at the agreed upon date and time to confirm and receive or return equipment. Please note: Someone 18 years or older must be present at the time of delivery or pickup to confirm and sign off on the quantity and condition of the rental items.
Additional Trip Charges
Should you choose to select or include delivery and pick up options to your rentals from our team - we offer one delivery and one pickup per rental order to a single customer address. Additional trips will result in extra charges.
Charges may apply in the following cases:
Outside the Standard Service Area
If your address is outside our service range, we’ll contact you before scheduling to confirm availability and any additional delivery fees.
KINGSTON: Flat rate – $10 Delivery + $10 Pickup
OUTSIDE KINGSTON (WITHIN 100KM): $0.50/km from our office – 1-1730 Bath Rd, Kingston, ON K7M 4Y2
We do not offer delivery or pick up outside of 100KM, you can still use our services however rental equipment would need to be self picked up and self returned to our location in Kingston.
Failed Delivery or Pickup Attempts
A $25 fee will apply if we arrive at the scheduled time and no one is available to receive or return the items within a 15-minute window.
We coordinate all appointments ahead of time, so please be ready to ensure a smooth process.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
We understand that plans can change, and we strive to be flexible whenever possible.

Early Returns
Returning your rental equipment earlier than the agreed rental period does not qualify for a partial refund, as the items are reserved exclusively for your rental term.
Delivery Issues
If a delivery cannot be completed due to incorrect address information or no one being available to receive the order, a $25 failed delivery fee will apply (see Section: Additional Trip Charges).
Ownership & Use of Equipment
All rental items remain the property of Eco-Moving Rentals. Rental equipment may not be resold, altered, or used for any purpose other than moving/storage.
Privacy Policy
We respect your privacy. Eco-Moving Rentals does not sell or share your personal information, unless required for billing, legal compliance, or collection of unpaid fees.
Scope of Services & Liability Disclaimer
Eco-Moving Rentals is not a moving company.
We do not offer packing, loading, unloading, or transportation of your personal belongings. Our services are strictly limited to the rental (and select sales) of eco-friendly plastic moving boxes and related moving supplies.
Customers may choose to:
Pick up their rental items at our designated location, or
Arrange for delivery and pickup through our team.
While we do not provide moving services, we are happy to refer you to trusted third-party movers upon request. However, Eco-Moving Rentals is not affiliated with, nor responsible for, the performance or availability of any third-party service providers.
Liability Waiver
Eco-Moving Rentals is not responsible for any injuries, accidents, or property damage that may occur as a result of packing, lifting, transporting, or moving rental items or any personal belongings. Customers are responsible for handling and using all rental equipment in a safe and appropriate manner.
